Took advantage of the mild days to do some deep mucking out. A top priority before spring is to improve my system so I can do that less.

The herd ranges some... more on mild days. On freezing and snowy days, I drag them branches that have come down as a result of the wintry weather.

This is the first winter I've allowed a buck to live full-time with the does and it's going pretty well. There has been only occasional, mild harassment.

Winter storm Fern hit us the last week of January and we lost power for three days, which is a lot less than for many others in middle Tennessee.
